Thank you for appearing at last evening's (Feb. 28) crime meeting at Ward 6.  I enjoyed talking with you about problem property owners, some of whom need a hammer applied.

We in the Neighborhood Support Network are trying to get beyond bandaid approaches in the endless cycle of problems due in part to renters who are not screened coming in, managed correctly or evicted promptly upon just cause.

We appreciate your work as City Prosecutor in supporting this effort and will applaud any changes you can bring about in ramping up an aggressive approach within legal and ethical bounds.

I very much appreciated being invited to last night's meeting.  For me, it was a great reminder of the continuing need to think out of the box when addressing the issue of crime properties in our neighborhoods.  I will take a serious look at what more we can do to assist both the police and the Neighborhood Support Network. Please don't hesitate to contact me whenever you have a question or concern.
